Journalist Simon Parker returns to explore more of Shetland, this time by walking the length of the islands from Sumburgh Head in the South Mainland to Hermaness in Unst. Simon is no stranger to Shetland, having started his epic 2020 cycle ride – from the northernmost tip of Unst to the southernmost point of the Isles of Scilly and back. He returned in December 2021 to experience the invigoration and drama of visiting Shetland in the winter. For his latest visit Simon slowed things down and put his best foot forward. As his latest film shows, whatever the mode of travel it is the majestic, dramatic natural beauty that keeps drawing him back to Shetland.
