Sunrise at Spiggie Loch

A tranquil sunrise at Spiggie in the South Mainland of Shetland. The Loch at Spiggie is a nature reserve and a designated site of special scientific interest and a special protection area for wildlife conservation. You'll find whooper swans, teal and wigeon, arctic terns, great skuas, tufted ducks and mallards on the loch and a variety of waders can be found on the marshes. Surrounded by sheep and beautiful views, it's a gorgeous spot to stop and take a breather.
