Uyea is an uninhabited tidal island in Shetland's North Mainland. It's connected by a beautiful sand tombolo, which is visible at low tide. Like Da Lang Ayre, the walk to Uyea is a challenging one but hugely rewarding once you get there. But, for safety reasons, it is not advised that you descend the cliffs down to the beach. Instead, admire the view from above with a refreshing flask of tea.
