A particularly tranquil corner of Shetland, much of south nesting is green and fertile, with abundant wild flowers. There’s good fishing on the lochs and the coastline around the isles of Gletness is especially beguiling. With patience, you may spot a seal or even an otter. The adjacent public hall, including its kitchen and sports facilities, can be hired, and wi-fi is available for a small charge. This peaceful site is well placed for touring the Shetland mainland.
