Yell is a great place for coastal walking and rewards those interested in history, archaeology, arts and crafts. However, the island is probably best known as one of the most promising places in europe to look for otters. The site lies just above a marina and offers eight fully serviced caravan bays as well as space for tents. There’s a modern amenity building, the roof of which is very unusual – it’s made from one of the lifeboats from the SS Canberra.
