The dramatic scenery of Eshaness features cliffs formed of ancient lavas, collapsed caves and blowholes. You might also want to explore the sub-arctic slopes of Shetland’s highest peak, Ronas Hill. Walks to the deserted fishing settlement of Fethaland or to Uyea should also be on your list. The site at Braewick is a great base for all these adventures, with excellent facilities, including a café, and a superb view towards the sea stacks called the Drongs.
