Several minerals are found at Hagdale in association with the chromite, some of which are very rare, include Aragonite, Kammererite and Pyroaurite, the green garnet Uvarovite, and Theophrastite, which was first discovered at Hagdale.?The serpentinite in the area sometimes displays veins of the serpentine minerals Antigorite (turquoise) and Lizardite (apple green). Tiny veins of the asbestos mineral Chrysotile can also be found in association with lizardite.
