TWO NORWEGIAN rowers have just completed a seven day epic journey in a tiny open boat crossing the northern North Sea and arriving in Shetland in the early hours of Wednesday.
The pair managed to get into Lerwick harbour after almost missing Shetland due to strong northerly winds.
Erik Schouw-Hansen, from Bergen, and Henrik Yksnøy, from Volda, set off from Florø in their small 17ft fourareen last Wednesday and initially made good progress in favourable conditions.
