Brydon Thomason, a born and raised Shetlander, has been exploring and absorbing the islands' wildlife all his life. Growing up on the island of Fetlar, whether out on the croft or with local RSPB wardens, the outdoors was where he needed to be. It was this passion for Shetland's wildlife that ultimately evolved into his profession.
His love of otters especially, helped form the foundation of his wildlife tour company, Shetland Nature. With over 35 years’ experience (almost 20 of them as a guide), Brydon has worked on over 20 TV productions and numerous publications featuring Shetland otters. He has featured in, guided, written scripts for and even narrated these, as well as co-authoring the acclaimed Otters in Shetland- the tale of the draatsi.
His experience as a naturalist and pride for Shetland, its people and heritage provide endless inspiration to the visitor experience Shetland Nature provides.
